Rockbourne Trout Fishery offers driven duck shooting at its best. Set in a stunning Hampshire valley, guns are positioned around Longacre Lake and the shoot is renowned for offering exceptional quality, testing high birds, with great hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. We shoot from mid-October, and pride ourselves in the quality of the sport on offer with most birds at a height of 30 to 50 yards, ensuring that both experienced and novice guns have a fabulous day.

We cater for small groups of up to 5 guns and bag sizes will be tailored to suit individual requirements but are usually around 50 to 100 birds per day. Prices start from £1000 + vat for 50 birds.

Shooting out of range or low birds is frowned upon.

Duck shooting is conducted in the late afternoon and early evening, and can be incorporated with a morning of fly fishing if so desired.

Refreshments are served in the Shooting Lodge in front of a roaring log burner, providing guests with the opportunity to discuss the days sport. A fully licensed bar is available to guns on completion of shooting. A meal can also be arranged for those wishing to fly fish before shooting.
